Systems / Architecture

Core
competencies.

A technical deep-dive into the architectures, methodologies and engineering principles I deploy across every production and teaching environment.

01

Offensive Security & Penetration Testing

I assess authorised network, web and endpoint environments end to end: reconnaissance, exposed-service discovery, exploitation paths and configuration weaknesses. Findings are documented against CVE and CWE references with clear remediation priority, then exported as structured JSON so the same assessment feeds automated correlation rather than dying in a PDF.

OFFENSIVE

02

Network Security & Cisco Infrastructure

Routing and switching, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS and continuous network monitoring — designed and taught to Cisco Networking Academy standard. I hold CCNA, Cisco DevNet, CyberOps, Network Security and Cloud Security certifications, and I build the lab topologies that make those concepts land for learners.

NETWORKING

03

AI-Driven Threat Prediction

My EDP platform ingests security datasets and correlates vulnerabilities against MITRE ATT&CK, CVE and CWE intelligence to model lateral-movement risk and predict next-stage attacker activity. The prediction engine turns raw structured findings into attack paths a defender can actually act on, presented through interactive visualisations.

AI SECURITY

04

Secure Backend Engineering

Python services built to be defensible: FastAPI and Flask REST APIs, PostgreSQL and MongoDB data layers, Redis and Celery for async work, JWT and OAuth 2.0 for identity, Pydantic for strict boundary validation. Secure software development is the default posture, not a hardening pass at the end.

BACKEND

05

Incident Response & Digital Forensics

Detection, triage, containment and post-incident documentation using SIEM tooling, Splunk, Wireshark, SentinelOne and IDS/IPS telemetry. I run scenario-driven exercises that force teams to reconstruct what happened from evidence, then write the report a non-technical stakeholder can act on.

BLUE TEAM

06

Security Automation & Tooling

Manual assessment does not scale. I build automated workflows for network scanning, web application testing and endpoint checks, standardised behind a JSON findings pipeline so results flow straight into correlation, risk scoring and reporting without human re-entry.

AUTOMATION

07

IoT, Embedded Systems & Robotics

Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi builds combining sensor integration, automation and edge computing with secure-by-design connectivity patterns. This is my active specialisation track: educational robotics and industrial IoT prototypes that double as teaching hardware and community solutions.

IOT

08

Curriculum Design & Technical Instruction

I design hands-on training in cybersecurity, networking, backend development, Linux and programming: practical labs, real-world simulations and certification preparation. The method is project-based — learners leave with something they built and can defend, not just a completion badge.

EDUCATION

09

Mentorship & Innovation Culture

I mentor learners and adult innovators through cybersecurity and software engineering projects, reinforcing collaboration, ethical practice and secure-by-design thinking. Hackathons, collaborative builds and scenario exercises connect training directly to real-world problem solving and community impact.
